RDHPS SYSTEM V

The Universal Motor Controller with Depth 

The Universal Motor Control with Depth is used to lower and raise the logging probe with the Century drawworks.  The controller also has a digital depth counter for depth control of the drawworks, when a Compu-Log computer is not used.

The control makes use of a regenerative feed back speed control that provides positive and smooth operation of the drawworks. Additionally, electrical braking of the system is provided with this control..

Standard features are on/off switch, % speed rheostat, and up/off/down position switch. The controller may be mounted away from the drawworks unit, to provide ease of operation of the drawworks in a controlled environment, such as the cab of a truck, for operator comfort and computer requirements.
